In the beginning of 2022 and wasting no time after the release of his debut album The Revenant in 2019 and an EP in between Diamonds in the Dark in 2021, Adrian Benegas returns to concoct another potion of power and started the writing process of his second solo album, turning out on 11 songs for this new release.
ARCANVM is the second full length album of paraguayan songwriter Adrian Benegas. The album narrative is the sequel of The Revenant. This second creation beats from the heart of 2000's power metal and embraces symphonic music with a modern touch and unique sound ambience and lyrics.
Influenced by classical music, soundtracks and metal bands like Rhapsody or Stratovarius, ARCANVM brings almost an hour of pure power metal hymns, heavy sounds and keyboard + guitar solos merged perfectly to bring to life to the old good days of power metal with an evolved modern vision.
The recordings took place all over the world, such as Rumania, Paraguay, Germany, Spain, The Netherlands and Georgia. Once again, Benegas gathers a top-notch team to bring life his songs, including the spellbinding talents from none other than Ronnie Romero on vocals, Timo Somers on guitars, Anis Jouini on bass and Michael Ehre on drums. The album also have the participation of Gorka Elso's hand in orchestration and the angelical female voice of Zuberoa Aznarez.
The album is self-produced and grandiose power maestro Sascha Paeth has the final word with mixing and mastering.

The concept of the album portraits the part II of The Revenant's story,
started in 2019 with the release of the first album called The Revenant.
While the first part of The Revenant's story took place in the depths of CADAVRIA (Inferno), ARCANVM takes the listener to a new spiritual, full of emotion journey through magical portals to finally discover the secret mantra of the Solemn Spirits who helped The Revenant to understand and value life in a different and higher way. ARCANVM is definitely an esoteric and touching fable about overcoming, knowledge of ourselves and true souls bond.
ARCANVM as you might expect is filled with heavy power to the core. Amazing solos, stupendous keyboard solos, soaring vocals and more elements that gathers all the mandatory components of great Power Metal. It is also a dramatic step forward in terms of songwriting and execution.
